Merit Waterproof iPhone 6 Case Review

I am talking about a great product from a company called
Merit, and their new iPhone 6 Waterproof, Dust proof, Shock proof, Snow proof,
bullet proof (not really) case.

This case is nicely built. It feels solid on the phone. It
does have a plasticy feel to it. The phone sits very solidly inside the case.
Every "port" and "hole" is covered by a thin membrane. The
package contains a small tool (looks like a guitar pick) that helps you to
remove the case from the phone. You cannot easily do this without the tool.
There is also a audio adapter that screws into the case. This audio jack
adapter has a rubber o-ring to maintain the water tight integrity of the case
while you are listening to your headphones.

to be prone to finger prints and face oils. Make sure your phone screen is
spotless as well as the inside of the case prior to putting this on. The

All the phones controls work with no problem with this case
on. The only thing I found slightly problematic was that the person on the
other end of my call said I sound slightly muffled.

**READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH THIS CASE**
You need to conduct a "water soak test"!!! You
have to do this prior ro putting your phone in this case. It's really important
to make sure there are no defects in the case.

I did a soak test with a piece of paper towel inside and
left it submerged in several inches of water for an hour.

My case had NO leaks!!! So it worked great!

I love Bluetooth speakers! They are constantly getting
better and better. More wattage output, bigger batteries, all equal better,
louder sound that plays longer. The bluetooth functionality means more

The Kitsound BoomBar 2 is a sweet up. The packaging is
great. It comes in a stylish box, and is packing in a faux leather travel case.
Enclosed in the box is also a MicroUSB power cable, and a 3.5mm audio cable.

The packaging claims up to 10 hours of play time. I have
been using it for about 3 hours with no issues... and this was with the charge
that it came shipped with.

Pairing was very, very easy. The sound was great for me. I
am not super picky lick some of the other reviewers here. I think this BoomBar
2 Bluetooth speaker sound really great playing my Spotify and Pandora music.
You can easily control forward and backwards track playing.

I grill a lot! Both on a large gas grill, and a Weber
22" Kettle charcoal grill. I have several different BBQ "mitts"
I use, but most of them really do not stand up to the intense heat my grills throughout.

As you will see in my video review above is that these
gloves are the real deal! Because they are truly "gloves" (the five
fingered variety) and not "mitts", I can maneuver the materials that
I am grilling much easier. The silicon material makes the grip much more
"sure" when grilling. I did not notice or feel any discomfort from
the heat of my grill.

I fully recommend these BBQ grilling gloves if you are
serious about grilling. Of course these will also work really well around the
house and in the kitchen. I even used these gloves to open a jar of sauce for
my wife!

There is an ON/OFF switch in the back. When you turn it on,
a voice tells you "Power On", and when it pairs with your phone it
also tells you it's paired. Pairing with your phone is really easy. You can
control the volume, pause, play, skip forward, and skip back from the three
buttons on the top of the speaker.

I like that there is an external audio input for that extra
functionality. There are rubber feet on the bottom that helps this speaker from
bouncing around with all the bass this things pumps out.

At $50 dollars, this is an exceptional value. The sounds are
really clear, and I feel this speaker is on par with higher end speakers I have
reviewed in the past.
