When you first turn it on, there are very loud voice
instructions, which I thought was pretty cool.It runs through a 3 minutes
calibration/self-test. You can easily hit the "test" button anytime
to make sure everything is working correctly. This device uses a catalytic
combustion method sensor, which is often found in much more expensive models.
