This selfie stick is very nice, fold up very compact, and is easy to take with you on trips or events. The new spring loaded camera mount is ideal for smaller phones.

This selfie stick / monopod from IPOW was very similar to the many other selfie stick I have tested previously that I refer to as "car antennas" in as much as this is a metal sectioned rod that you pull up on to extend it fully. This helps it maintain its compactness, but I have found that the monopod get get a little shaky when extended fully with a large phone at the end of it.
This particular selfie stick is a wired variety. You plug a small white wire in your devices audio input. Then when you hit the shutter button on the handle, it will snap a picture on your phone. This design works well, as you do not have to pair your device, or worry about making sure your selfie stick's battery is charged.
My only gripe about this particular device is the clip that holds the phone. Bottom line is that it does work. It's just that i have a large phone (Galaxy Note 4) and in my use it is way to easy to have the phone pop out of the holder. I think this would work very well for a smaller phone.
All in all this is a good product for the money. Ipow makes great things, and they have a good warranty behind their products.
