Setting up this external hard drive enclosure from Inateck was amazingly simple! All you literally have to do is plug-in the hard drive into the connector in the enclosure. Plug in the power cable to a USB port, and the USB 3.0 cable into the USB 3.0 slot in your computer. It took a few minutes for my PC to recognize the drive, but once it did it work perfectly.
The enclosure is made from plastic, but it solidly built. It also includes three additional USB 3.0 hub sockets. So you can attach additional products to this device. This drive is rated for hard disk drives up to 3 terabytes. It also supports even faster data transfer using a solid state disk using UASP technology.
There are no screw or other mounting hardware involved in setup of this hard drive enclosure. I did not have the opportunity to actually test the true transfer speeds, but I can say that it is very, very fast. I have used other devices like this, and none have performed as well.
