AUSDOM WiFi Wireless IP Camera Review and Hands-On

AUSDOM WiFi Wireless IP Camera Review and Hands-On

Price: $73.99

This Wireless WiFi IP camera is really nice, and feature
laden. I feel the price for the features and build quality is very fair. The
camera offers a 720p HD output, two way voice communications. You can view your
camera from any website, a PC based application, and a Android or iOS dedicated
app.

***SETUP.... PLEASE READ***
This camera would have been an easy 5 Stars had the setup
process been easier. But, it was anything but.

I followed the direction several times, with no success. I
finally figured it out after two hours of aggravation.

Here is how you need to set this camera up:
- Plug in the camera
- Connect the Cat5 Ethernet cable into your router.
- Go to Ausdom { dot } com and download the PC/Mac desktop
application.
- Run the app, and register for an account.
- Once you run the app and log in, you should see your
camera listed (again... while it is hardwired to your router).
- There is a "Settings" option. Click this, and
enter the WiFi Setup menu. From here you can select your Wireless router, and
enter the login credentials.
- No unplug the Ethernet cable, and place the camera
anywhere in your house. The camera *should* wireless connect to your router.

When I did it this way it worked 100% consistently
throughout my house. I was pissed because this camera will NOT work and pair
via the WPS function as the instructions says.

Aside from that, once I got passed this issue, the camera
worked great! Picture quality is really good. You can monitor sound, and use
the apps "Push To Talk" feature to communicate via the cameras
speaker. There are two IR lights that provide a decent picture in the dark.

The video record, add image capture functions work perfectly
via the Android app.

So... please order this camera, follow my installation
instructions above, and you will be really happy with this product.

Ausdom sent me this camera to test and review in exchange
for an unbiased review.
